A stash-busting project to use up several balls of 8 ply blue ‘denim mix’ merino yarn. I am randomly adding stripes in various 8 ply 100% wool/merino yarns, only using cool tones - mainly blues, greens and purples, but with the odd cream and ruby stripes thrown in!

Rather than weaving all those annoying ends at the end of this project, I am crocheting over the top of the ends, then picking up the yarn end in that colour when I get to the end of the next row (this works because you are stitching into the spaces).
I initially edged with dc (sc) in cream with denim chain arches, but changed my mind and used cream treble clusters and ruby chain arches!

This ended up being larger than a throw - works well as a warm bedspread.
