I loved the way these turned out! I wanted to see how the Fairisle effect worked - so I tried knitting in the round on a hat - didn’t work - then I tried knitting backwards and forwards in a jacket - didn’t work. So I gave up - and made a BSJ in each colour! This is the short version - I didn’t do the extended piece. I also changed the decreasing/increasing, putting a marker each side of the centre stitch, knitting the stitch each side, and purling the three stitches on each wrong side row.
It made a nice thick decorative band.
