I was given this yarn on Friday at 10 am ;Started knitting the Tomten on Saturday evening; and I finished the sweater at 10.30 pm on Monday!

I am in LERV!!! I knew the minute I saw the yarn that it would look fantastic in a Tomten.

I had enough Moda Vera Jazz (I thought) just to do the body and hood in alternating stripes of two ridges with the Eden ; The sleeves and bands were done in the Eden. There is the tiniest fleck of apricot in the Eden - which is a gorgeous muted tweed - ranging through gray, green and brown. You have to look really hard to see the orange colour. And it goes so well with the Jazz which is a milk chocolate colour.

This whole jacket took me about 15 hours to make from go to whoa - the buttons are going to be the teddy bears I think - I photographed them just sitting on the sweater - so this could change!!

Stop Press - I had about 1/2 skein left of the Eden and in my kniting tote found one more complete ball of the Jazz!!!! Whoo hoo - I think I could make a beanie or something with what is left!

My DH asked if I was knitting a DEAD MOLE!!! Now isn’t that charming??
