I designed this sweater based very loosely on the Beribboned Eyelet Sweater, to make it more acceptable for a boy baby. The first time I made it in garter stitch thoroughout. The second one I made in Wager stitch, because this is an 8 row pattern stitch. This fits beautifully with the original concept’s curved shaping.

The third one I made in garter stitch but with a stripe every 8 rows.

Unlike the original I made the neck and front bands all in one - a lot less fiddling about IMHO!

13.3.14 Because someone stole this pattern and tried to pass it off as her own, I was forced to put a purchase price on this pattern - originally, I had it listed as a free pattern…. sorry but this was the only protection I had…
