Mods: Cast on 32, work 25 rounds 1x1 rib.
Work cable instep over 16 stitches, back and forth. 6 row cable pattern, with 3x3 cable on row 5, 3 times. Work two more rows in pattern.
Start knitting in the round, after picking up 10 stitches for each side (16+10+16+10), then adjust so there are 16 stitches on side needles and 10 stitches at front and back. Work 8 rounds stockinette.
Work bottom in garter stitch, knitting last stitch together with a side stitch until there are no side stitches left, Kitchener heel together.

Ugh! I forgot to decrease at the corners of the toe on the last row of cable pattern, so my toes are more square…I’m ok with that. :)
