Notes

Sooo, in the Mothers of Soldiers group, here on Ravelry, we have decided that one of the best ways to deal with our kids being in the Military (and sometimes being sent to very scary places) is to keep breathing, read by knitters as “Knit 1, Breathe 1, repeat!” One of the ladies wondered on the boards what a Breathe 1 stitch might look like, and another offered a simple lace, including a double decrease flanked by yarn-overs. This shawl pattern, created for this knitalong, uses this simple stitch to encourage us to “K1, B1, repeat” as we support our kids and each other.

05.05.10 - The pattern is available! Yay! It still may contain errors, and I am working out the details, so changes may be coming…but give it a shot if you like. Because, as we all know, life is so much better if we don’t forget to breathe! :)

5.11.10 - Sock-Ease for kerchief, bottom-up;
Maizy for top-dowen shawlette
