Finally a sweater for the pup! Using leftovers…
Measurements:
Neck - 10”
Neck to leg - 5”
Chest - 16”
Between legs - 3”
Around leg - 4.5”
Neck to tail - 13”

Cast on 48, 2x2 for 16 rounds, button holes at throat and back of neck for optional leash connection. Knit 1 round plain in color 2.
K1, inc 1, knit to last stitch, inc 1.
Knit 1 round plain.
K2, inc 1, knit to last 2 stitches, inc 1, k1.
Knit 1 round plain.
Increase as established 13 more times, until total stitches number 76.
Bind off 2 sts at each underarm, with 15 sts between legs. Knit 12 rows on these 15 sts, and 12 rows on remaining sts, then knit 1 round of all sts, adding in 1 st at each bind off.
Knit 8 rounds plain, then bind off 21 belly sts, and knit in st st 2 rows.
Continue to knit on back sts, working mirrored decreases at the edges until 36 sts remain.
Knit one round, picking up side and belly sts, knitting 10 rounds ribbing, decreasing at inside corners every other round. Work sleeves for 8 rounds.
