I wanted matching wristwarmers for the popular “Saroyan” scarf. The “Greenleaf Wristwarmers” were not quite what I wanted, so I heavily tweaked the pattern:

• cast-on more stitches, to make longer
• changed leaf-pattern to much smaller leaf (tweaking other details on the way)
• added thumb-holes for better fit
• added slip-stitch borders
• added short rows for better fit
• made mirrored version for left hand

As of November 2nd, still refining third and final version…

November 13: Finally finished fourth and probably really-final version (including mirrored left mitten)
wondering if I should write up the pattern…

November 19: Wrote up the pattern and put it on ravelry - my first design! How exciting!
