Notes

Fun pattern! I was given an amazing spreadsheet that has helped tremendously with my first time knitting this pattern. Now I’m not sure why I waited so long to knit it! If you’d like a copy of the spreadsheet, feel free to PM me your email address.

Slipping first stitch purl-wise.

I did NOT alternate skeins. One skein (109g) got me through section 3 (the straight section) and now I’m on the second skein and working the decrease section. Used 1/4 of the second skein to finish up the project. Total used = 1.25 skeins.

51” x 18” blocked.

I steam iron blocked this piece, using an ironing board and my basic steam iron. The Silk Sock base takes to the steam beautifully. Steam blocking is a lot faster than wet blocking and needs very few pins…it took me about 20 minutes to steam block this piece.

This project has been a LOT easier and faster than I thought it would be! The actual time it took to knit this is shorter than my dates reflect since I set it aside a couple of times for other projects.

I love this scarf so much!!!
