14 May- gauge perfect with 4.25mm needles. Started. Yarn feels very nice, but I have to say it’ a little slippery.

16 May- not a hard pattern but it requires some concentration. Had to redo the part here you join in the round cause I screwed up somewhere. Humph!

15 Jul- ok, so I picked this up again. Cannot remember where I left off. this is going to be a pain to figure out.

16 Jul- Thought I got it, knitted 3 rows, counted, got it wrong. frogged back. grrrr

17 Jul- Tried again….4 rows into it…something wrong, what the????

19 Jul- past the sleeves, HALLELLUJA!

21 Jul- all right, now it’s easy-breezy, the rest of this thing is stockinette

25 Jul- almost done

29 Jul- ends have been woven in, it’s blocked, ready to wear!!

A few notes. It’s an adorable pattern, my only complaint is that I found the instructions a little confusing. Persistence has pai off though. It required quite a bit of concentration for teh sleeves, but once you get it, you are good to go!
Not sure I’d knit it again any time soon though.
