Pro’s:

• Knits up quickly in a bulky yarn weight
• Looks pretty

Con’s:

• Too small, even in the larger version. It’s too short (at least in my yarn) and not suitable for women with dress size “Large” or above. I have small shoulders, but still it’s a little “tight around the chest”. Maybe try knitting the rib-part longer.
• Not possible to wear it under a thick down jacket. The moment you lift your arms, the whole thing slips up to your shoulders and you have a huge cowl around your neck (especially at the back) which doesn’t fit under a thick jacket. Might work though under a thin woolen coat.

Tips:

• Choose a non-scratchy yarn
• Try to get gauge (I didn’t)
