I’m trying to turn the hat into a tam - I want my Grandma’s perm to fit under it :)

Mods

• Increase round: (k2, m1) 2 times, (k1, m1) repeat 24 times (192 stitches).
• Decrease round after finishing of chart A: k6, k2tog repeat until end of round.
• Crown shaping: work Chart B a total of 7 times.

Yarn
I used vintage Shetland yarn from my stash (Hunters of Brora). I forgot to take one ball of yarn to Germany (still haven’t found the ball yet…). Luckily I could find another wool yarn in a similar shade. Even though the Ullcentrum is a bit thicker, it works fine for colorwork.

On the first try I didn’t read the pattern properly and made way to few increases. So ripping for joy it is!
