• Italian cast-on with 4 rows of “double knitting” (knit the knit stitch, slip the purl stitch)
• Length: 180 rows
• Size 1 for sleeves. Decreased every 3rd row 24 times, then every 11th row 5 times.
• Folded neckband Karen Templer-style
• Sewn bind off at the cuffs

Done with the back. 130 rows after the ribbing. This was a tough one!**

Unfortunately I missed the errata: the stitch between the cables is supposed to be a purl, not a knit stitch. Here’s how I’m fixing the mistake:

• Secure the stitch at the bottom with a stitch marker
• Ladder down the stitch until the secured first stitch
• Using a crochet hook and crochet back up from the WS. I find it much easier to crochet a knit stitch than a purl stitch.

While doing this I realized that I had messed up one of the cables, so I won’t be able to ladder down the first stitch in the repeat (as it is now part of the cable…). I guess I will have to redo the cable entirely, but saving this for another day…

Swatched with my new Chiagoo needles. Because my gauge is off, I will use size 3’s stitch count, which for me will turn out at size 4 (which I actually need).
