I’ve nearly finished the front - there’s about half an inch to do. I don’t like the deep turquoise and gold rows that I did half way out but by the time of realised how bad they looked, there would have been a lot of unpicking and re-working to do.
I’ve made a start on the other side, making it up as I go along. My stitch count isn’t very good though. I’m glad it’s going to be a cushion cover - it will need something to hold it flat!

All finished! I was a bit more careful with colour placement on the second side. Although I used the same colourway it looks quite different. I was very surprised to find the stitch count around the edge only differed by 4 stitches between the two sides - that was definitely more luck than judgement! I had bought a 40cm square cushion which I altered to make circular.

I’m very pleased with how it turned out and might one day attempt Dedri’s blanket pattern.
