I guess my gauge was way off because the blanket is 4.5” narrower and 6” shorter than intended.

I used a size J hook for the blanket and wheels and a size H hook for the applique.

I ran out of gray yarn with two stripes left and had to buy a second pound of yarn.

I worked the border in the outermost loops of the stitches instead of around the entire stitch.

I worked SC around the edge of the truck and slip stitched across the top of the bed.

I reversed the pattern for the green and orange cars driving left to right so the right side would be facing.

For the wheels I used an adjustable ring instead of chaining 4.
