My gauge was smaller than the pattern’s so the mitten circumference is 5” instead of 5.5”.

I knit these mittens in the round on DPNs instead of flat. I cast on 28 sts for the cuff and increased to 30 sts for the hand instead of 31 sts.

I worked the cuff in rib instead of garter stitch.

I knit 21 rnds in stockinette instead of 18 rnds before the mitten shaping. I used ssk instead of skpo.
