Notes

This was a very easy pattern and knitted up incredibly quickly. I would highly recommend this for someone’s first sweater project.

However, sewing the buttons on the front caused me a lot of angst. I ended up sewing the buttons through both of the front layers because I couldn’t get the fronts to line up properly. The neckline is low and wide enough that I can get it on and off without unbuttoning it. If I were to make this again I would omit the buttonholes and sew the fronts together like I did for this one.

My bottom edge is a bit wonky - the seed stitch pulls the front up.

I used ten 7/8” buttons from Jo-Ann Fabrics.

Measurements:

  • Bust: 32”
