I cast on the number of stitches for the next size up so the neck would be a little wider.

My gauge was a little big, so I have less stitches and less rows than the pattern calls for (88 stitches each for the front and back and 70 stitches for each sleeve).

I went right into the k1p1 ribbing on the sleeves instead of doing stockinette stitch first. I did some decreases before the cuff but I don’t remember how many.

The eyelet ribbing was more interesting than stockinette but easy enough that I whipped this up in less than a week.

I think this cropped sweater will go with everything and can be worn all year round.
