A present for my sister who has the nickname “catfish”, so some added barbels :)

Such a fun pattern. Time just flies on transatlantic flights when you’re knitting the body of this!

Some notes:

• I used 5 4mm DPNs. I could have gone smaller, I’m a fairly loose knitter.
• I used German Short Rows. Really simple and look great.
• Have some ladders at needle cross-overs. Hoping a really gentle block will help.
• I used a 3 stitch I-beam reducing to 2 stitch near the end for the barbels and just stitched them on with the loose ends afterwards.
• A little way into this knit, I switched to knitting continental style. It’s way easier for my mobility-impaired wrist and for me is quicker and more consistent too.
• I’m a fan of asymmetry ;)
