This little bird pattern is so cute - the canaries turned out pretty well considering they are all one color and the pattern is for a multicolored parakeet. Emil is very happy with them ~ he’s been asking for knit canaries for a while now.

Bodies and tails knit in the round (after the upper tail tab for the tail) - this made for less seaming, which I really like but it did take me a minute to figure out which was the front and which was the back of the birds since I didn’t have a back seam :0)

Reflecting Pool Arroyo used to wrap the hoop for the birds to sit on.
