My daughter wanted a solid colored multi-textured baby blanket for her newest little one (on the way) - I’ll be knitting this in one piece rather than in blocks so there will be no sewing involved - yay!

Blanket will be 4 blocks x 4 blocks with a 2.5” mock rib border. As I am still using all 5 stitch patterns, each section will omit one patterned block. Each ‘block’ is 36 sts x 50 rows (approx. 8” x 8” each).

4/13 1 set of blocks completed, 2nd set begun. The pattern states that the Lattice Work stitch pattern gauge is larger row-wise than the other stitch patterns, but I am finding the exact opposite. With the cables it seems a bit tighter than the others, so it should work out fine for the way that I am knitting the blanket.
4/15 halfway!
4/20 3/4 done. One set of blocks and the end border to go.
4/25 all blocks complete - top border to complete and it will be finished!
5/4 still need to weave in ends and do a single crochet around the outside edge for added stability, then a bath and a nice blocking to straighten it all out :0)
8/30 Finished!
