A sweet little dress for my daughter’s best friend who is expecting in July. The request was for a true newborn size, so hopefully this will be just right.

7/23 At one month old little Mia is finally newborn size and her dress and headband fit perfectly!
6/24 Little Mia decided she couldn’t wait another month to wear her dress so she was born yesterday on the 23rd nearly a month early. And I guess her scheme worked because they’ve already put her dress on her! :0)
5/7 Completely complete -well, except for the buttons - I will have to see what colors the shoes end up being to make a final decision about the button color… The shoes and toy ended up with lavender accents, so lavender it is!
5/6 Knitting finished! Now for some blocking magic!
5/5 Halfway through the lower lace pattern, will be finishing up in a day or two.
5/4 This is a quick knit in such a tiny size - getting ready to start the lower lace portion.

Color is a cheery yellow, not pale and not over-strong. Still need to get some little lavender buttons for the dress.
