This is a terrific pattern, I’ve loved it since I first saw it, and even though I made this project really difficult on myself, I still love it. Very clear directions with plenty of photos and supplementary information. The designer is extremely helpful and available for questions and advice also. I think when I make this pattern (or any felted piece) the next time I will definitely use a smoother yarn like Paton’s Classic Wool Worsted. This yarn is beautiful and the color is gorgeous (the reason I picked the yarn!), but I didn’t like hairy post-felting end product as the ‘mohairs’ in this yarn do not felt and end up as a thick hairy fuzz all over the surface after. A shaver did not entirely solve the issue though it helped a lot.
