The edges are curling, but that is expected. I stopped to count my stitches to make sure I hadn’t left out a stitch near one of the ends, and thankfully I have the correct amount right now.

I put this project down for a very long time and finally just picked it up a few days ago. I chose to do the bigger #1 version (adding 18 rows to body) because I feared that since I crochet tightly, it might come out too small. It’s perfect!

This is a shawl you definitely need to block appropriately in order to get the bump near the point of the triangle to lay flat, and also to bring out the detail in the lace border. I did not find this shawl to be challenging (that’s a good thing!) because the designer included the most helpful thing: a chart! I prefer charts, so once I got to the border, I just used that. It was beyond helpful and very clear to read.

I used a tiny bit over 2 skeins of chroma fingering, but probably because when I changed from my first skein to my second, I did cut a few dozen yards off first because the transition would have been too stark. I could probably have finished with exactly two skeins had I not done that. But, that would also have been too close for my comfort.
