Mary Werst’s patterns, I am finding out, are… interesting. A few things: (1) the designs themselves can feel repetitive, but that’s not a bad thing, (2) for some reason I can get so confused working them, when they’re pretty simple; I’ll assume there’s a mistake, but then find out through troubleshooting that it was just me again, getting confused, and (3) they always turn out rather nicely, so I have no reason to have any trouble with them.

2016-11-03 = Finished rounds 1-11.

2016-11-05 = Finished rounds 12-22.

2016-11-06 = Finished rounds 23-32.

2016-11-07 = Finished rounds 33-36.

2016-11-08 = Will block and post pictures.

Just like the other Werst pattern I did, this one is ruffling A LOT. This is a note to say that the last one blocked absolutely lovely, so I should have no problem with this one, either.

CHANGES

• For round 35, I completed “FPDC, small picot, FPDC” around the middle FPDC of each scallop.
• For the last round, I omitted the ch2 spaces in the valleys.
