My first doily made with something thicker than size 10 thread! I’m using cotton twine! The 4.00mm hook feels fine but I might use a bigger hook next time. I’m loving it so far. I had a difficult time deciding which pattern to use with this amazing twine.

The middle is bowing a little bit. The ch6 that was needed to start might need to be a ch5 next time with this thread, or a magic circle!

Finished! The twine worked out wonderfully for the entire piece. I used almost 2 entire skeins.
