I used a larger hook (4.00mm) because RHBU is worsted weight. I am in love with this yarn. The colors in the picture are a little inaccurate; the orangey-red color is actually more pinkish.

BORDER
I used Ernieball’s notes for the edging. I did a DC border with picot along the curved edge, and a SC border along the straight edge. I omitted the DC in the valleys of the DC border so it would lie flatter. This means I DCed 10, 3ch picot, then DCed 9 (instead of 10) over each hump.

NOTE
Though the pattern is in German (and there is an English translation), I used the chart provided by the designer since I’m a chart-reader and prefer them over written patterns.
