On round 17, I changed the way I started the round. Instead of doing a CH8, I started with a “CSDC, CH5, DC” into starting stitch so that the ‘V’ is already completed when you come back around at the end of the round. Makes for an easier join and easier starting stitch for round 18.

I took a super long hiatus on this so that I could work on other things. Picked it up again tonight (12/14/2015) and finished it quickly.

I used a large hook again and I’m not sure I’ll be doing that again anytime soon. I really don’t like how it makes the stitches look spaced out.

On the very last round, there’s a place between the peaks where you do 4dc, ch5picot, 3dc. I changed it to both 4dc to make it even on either side of the picot.
