I wanted to make something as bright and colorful as the soccer uniforms to commemorate the 2010 World Cup.

I have a dedicated How to Make an African Flower soccer ball at my blog. As of today it includes links to patterns and tutorials for the African Flower hexagon, and directions for the pentagon I devised.
