A test knit for Irina Anikeeva. I just love making pictures with purls, I had to go for it.

This is my first time knitting with Cotton Glacé. Hmm -- it’s a bit like knitting with rope. Not comfortable on the hands, but it still glides across the needles better than other cottons I have used. While it’s tough on my hands, it’s all for a reason. The stitch definition is incredible (perfect for this type of project!) and I imagine it lasts forevahhhhh.
