frogged the first attempt about 50% through. I wasnt happy with how the garter stitch looked with the lace and stripes. Trying a stockinette stitch regular baktus

After 3 tries I think I got a result I liked. leaving the lace out, im doing Karius with a 4 stitch garter border to avoid the curling, with every 8th row being a garter row too. Without the border it curls way too much (I should have known, doh).

At this point the total weight of my yarn is 95 grams, so my halfway point is at 23.75 of each skein.
