I found this yarn, and the name said it was the perfect yarn for this MKAL.

The lotus yarn was held double with both of the other yarns.

One design element: this is a case of didn’t-read-itis (a common, seldom deadly syndrome.) The edging rib is supposed to be a garter rib, which I didn’t notice until I was 4 rows into it. There was no way I was going to frog back those rows, so only the last 4 rows have the garter rib.
