Knitting these at a tighter gauge.

Started with 16 stitches (32) increased to 40 (80)

Granite stitch (400 Knitting Stitches p. 19) on top of foot. After flk heel is worked, start k2, p1 ribbing center back. Bring granite stitch and ribbing toward each other every 4 rows. Then continue to increase ribbing until completely around.
