Changes: the pattern has inconsistent and confusing instructions.

On the back corner shaping it starts using (2dc, ch 2, 2 dc) for the corners. Then it uses different stitch counts for the first corner than the other 2, and really not enough stitches. What I Did: kept (2dc, ch 2, 2 dc) for all 3 corners throughout the back.

I dislike sewing things together, so for the sleeves I attached the yarn to the back at a shoulder, made 18 chains, joined 17 stitches down from the shoulder. I then completed the sleeves as written. This eliminated the need to sew the sleeves onto the back before starting the fronts.

I thought a button front with neck shaping would look nice, so I worked the front as written for 6 rows, placed a marker and started decreasing one stitch at the neck edge every row through row 10. Then one row even.

I wanted a smooth hem along the front edge, so started the hdc border at the front bottom corner, working one stitch in each dc around and 5 hdc in the ch-2 space at the center back to keep the point nice and pointy.

For the front edging, I started at the lower right and worked hdc in each of the first 2 stitches. Then I worked ch-6, slip st in the top of last hdc for a button loop. (4 hdc, button loop) twice. Hdc in next 3 stitches. Sc in 5 stitches. Ch 3, sc in next stitch around to the left front even with the beginning of the lace on the right front. Sc in next 5 stitches, hdc to end.
