I’m using a formula developed by Kalidurga to make this. I started with thread held double and it is working well. GD is a Harry Potter fan, so I am using the chart from the mittens on the front of the bag.

GD let me know last night that she is getting a different size bag, so I decided to frog the whole thing and go to a single strand. I’ve made socks with a single strand of this cotton, and liked the fabric, so I think that will work.

Preparing to frog, I discovered I was working the design on the back of the bag! DUH!!! LOL…..
