I’m not sure I will have enough of the gray. If I get towards the end and feel I will be running out, I will mix in the black. (I had enough beads! I had been looking at Cobweb, which takes a kazillion beads and that must have been why I was afraid of not enough beads. Less than one tube of beads was used in this knit.)

This project is part of the Perfectly Purple KAL in the Boo! starting July 4, 2014.

When I was growing up, cousins often came over for a 4th of July cook out. Grilled dogs and hamburgers with pickles and potato chips. For the kids, the drink was kool-ade, and one of my favorites was grape. Tag, badminton and baseball were the games of the day followed by s’mores over a campfire and sparklers at dusk.
