For a rather major family occasion in 2014, I wanted a shawl for the night-time program…you know, something to cover the shoulders during fireworks at midnight. (It turned out to be a super warm night, which was lucky because I didn’t finish in time :-/)
The pattern is so well-written!
This being my second-ever lace project, I am incredibly proud of how it turned out. I decided not to block it into the winged shape though, I like it as a semi-circle.
What really helped me was to underline the row of the pattern that I was currently working on. This way I was even able to take the WIP on the road.
I think I’ll be knitting this one again, it was incredibly enjoyable!
