Waiting for yarn to arrive…website says May 10th….
May 11, 2012: cast on for this before it gets too warm. It is a fairly easy projects and I like the way the square rotates while I work. But it is still early, I am on my third color…
May 12th: I tie the knots on the right of the work, so I remember when to start the new row. Onto 5th color!
May 14th: changed on to 40 inch circulars and color 7…
May 15th: I had to get Addi Turbo 40 inch circulars because with Denise interchangeable stitches were not moving well round the cord, a real pain.Started color 8.
May 21st: 12th color! Getting bigger and back to Denise interchangeable….
May 24th : finished the 14th color, onto the 15th and last!the last few rows were really slow and I kept dragging the huge thing around the house just hoping to finish it…..
Note 1: I finished Avocado and Forest Green Heather before the end of the last row in those colors. I substituted with the following color: it’s really a matter of not much left. The last color too was used up almost to the end of the second ball.
Note 2: I used for the increases the knit(or purl) front and back instead of the recommended because the latter was more time consuming. Result is ok but the proposed would have probably been neater.
May 26th: finished knitting but I need to block it. Not tonight!
May 29th: I finally managed to block it and it takes almost all of my Queen size bed…
