1 Feb: Everything grew when it blocked, so the sleeves are a bit on the long side, but it’s so warm. Also, I’m so glad I didn’t do all the increases for the arms - they’re plenty wide as it is, and anything more would just look sloppy. Pictures when I take them :)
26 Jan: Finished second skein halfway through front panel (final piece except for neckband and finishing). I’m going to have so much yarn left over.
21 Jan: Finished and lightly blocked both sleeves to even out their size. They grew about 2” in length and 1” in width, but the cables evened out nicely. Front panel is cast on and progressing nicely; I plan to do seven repeats of the main cable before stopping for the neck (I did eight on the back).
17 Jan: Adding one more increase row at 3 of the last Panel A repeat. Did 13 Panel As in total.
13 Jan: I’m going to stop increasing at 13 seed sts per side (68 st total) for a while, until I get a bit further up the arm. It’s already a bit on the baggy side.
12 Jan: Starting a sleeve, gonna do it flat cuz I’m lazy. 10 rows of ribbing, starting increases on each round 3 of Cable C for 8 increases, then increasing on every third even row until it’s a wide enough sleeve.
10 Jan: Finished back panel. It is, with my unblocked gauge, exactly the size of a unisex small t-shirt. I have no idea what the gauge in the pattern is smoking. Also, I left the shoulders un-bound-off, and will do a three-needle bind-off when I get the front done.
2 Jan: swatched (yes, me, I swatched). I can almost get gauge if I block the everloving fuck out of it, but it’s gonna be huge on me anyway, so that’s okay.
