Notes

Third in my Festival of Scarves pattern set made with Sekku yarn, this scarf features 5” lace squares (and half-square triangles) joined point to point to make a fun, lighter than air summer wrap originally inspired by the 4th of July in Boston. The construction allows Sekku’s color changes to flow organically from square to square. A vintage lace pattern based on garter stitch makes it completely reversible, with not a purl stitch or SSK in the entire motif. (SSKs are used in some places to shape or join squares, but not in the lace motif.
