J’ai découvert ce châle au cours d’un atelier avec Helène Magnusson pendant le salon “pour l’amour du fil” à Nantes en Avril dernier.
Je devais le tricoter pour moi et puis l’anniversaire de Mamie C (88 ans) à pointé le bout de son nez. J’avais dans l’idée de lui tricoter un châle depuis un bon moment … C’était donc l’occasion idéale!
J’ai préféré quelque chose de plus sobre que l’original donc monochrome et dans une couleur que je trouve très délicate et féminine.
Le résultat me plait tellement que j’aurai presque aimé le garder pour moi!
Mais comme j’ai toujours la laine du salon et bien je pense que je vais récidiver sous peu!

I ‘ve discovered this shawl during a workshop with Helene Magnusson at the yarn festival “pour l’amour du fil” that took place in Nantes last April.
In the beginning I wanted to knit it for me but as Mamie C’s birthday (88 years old) was coming along I decided it would be the perfect gift for her.
I just wanted this shawl to be very feminine and delicate so I choose to use This french lavender Holst Garn from my stash and it does the trick doesn’t it?

I just love how it turned out and I wish I could keep it to myslef but as i still have the yarn given during the workshop I think I will have to make another probably more colorful version.
