Notes

This is what comes of actually looking through the yarn closet and re-organizing: Halloween gifts for my sisters.

My sister and her family live in Halloween City (Salem, Massachusetts) where October is a month of utter madness. We always visit on Halloween.

This year I crocheted two infinity scarves, one for each of them.

Pumpkinhead used a skein of orange/black/gray whose label has gone missing with some Houndscroft Farm Handspun, “Nyx,” left from a previous project.

Skull-A-Tor used a skein of Material Whirled Handspun. I just love those angry looking skull beads.

Fastest project ever--about an hour each. Using the gigantic S/19mm hook I worked 65 Foundation Single Crochet, then worked back and forth until the yarn was used up, ending at a row end and crocheting the ends together. I varied the stitch for each row at whim: sc, sl st t/l, and sc-ch1-skip st.
