Notes

This skirt is exactly as the title says - super simple to knit. It is knit from the waist down and has no seams except for the one, that encloses elastic. The skirt looks very flatteringly and can be made in any size or gage. I used a very pretty Regia sock yarn (100 grams). This makes the skirt easy to care for. Just put it in the washer, as you would with the pair of socks. The bottom flared out part makes it easy for the child to run and jump. It will not interfere with the play. For the convenience of the wearer knit this skirt at the loose gage. A simple garter stitch border keeps the skirt from rolling up and does not interfere with the drape.
The pattern will be available shortly. After the pattern I have included a tutorial, that would let you make a similar skirt for any size child, using any suitable yarn. I would use ether
superwash wool (for easy care), or acrylic .
