This is a school sweater for my DD 2. Grey was the only color we could agree on out of the 3 colors school permits.
I experimented here with a new to me, so called “Factory Cast On” here and still not sure that it was worth the effort.
This is a raglan sweater with some short row shaping in the back part of the neck for a better fit. My daughter wanted the neckline to look squarish and just large enough for her collar to fit into it.

I have to admit that I hated the yarn while I was knitting this sweater. It had a plastiky almost sticky feeling as it run through my fingers. Yes, I will never knit with it again. Yes, I trashed whatever was left over. But…
Now, that the sweater is finished both I and DD 2 love it. It fits her very nicely and she does likes the way it feels to her.
And since the school is now on Zoom we had some fun with sleeves and made them extra wide.
