Making this quilt from my own pattern, inspired by a picture I saw. It’s a baby gift for a boy that my mother in law asked me to make :)

May 18th - Finished piecing. Have to get some batting and decide on a backing before beginning to hand quilt this. Not sure if I’ll use floss or thread.

June - I decided to use an aqua thread for the hand quilting and have most of the centre quilted. Hopefully this will be done by the end of June.

June 25th - On schedule (but cutting it close!). I have a little quilting left to do (the area outside the circle is half done) and then the edging. I feel like it will be done on time - planning to finish up this weekend.

July 18th- All done!! Finished this a little later than originally planned since our recipient is visiting next week.
