My first attempt at knitting socks, and my first project on such a fine yarn. I usually knit with worsted/aran or chunky.

11/2/12 - I’m excited to get the first two rounds finished!
12/2/12 - Finished the toe and the first pattern repeat. I’m knitting this on DPNs and have to keep redistributing stitches to make increases or decreases work. I’m a slow knitter in general, but this is very slow work. It’s going well though!
13/2/12 - Found the right needle distribution for the foot, the lace pattern stitches all on one needle, and the sole stitches across two needles is working well. Done two pattern repeats. Will need two more before the heel.
8/3/12 - Found the time to do the heel. My first heel, my first short rows, my first wrapped stitches. Finished and it looks great!

29/1/15 - Wow, it took me almost three years to get through these, but they’re finished. Sock two was a lot faster!
