Notes

Modifications: SSK for first earflap decreases, braided ties, not i-cord, adorable pom pom (had to learn how to use that pom pom maker somehow). Carried the colors up along the inside, so that I didn’t have to work in any ends.

Loved the other one I made, but it was too big. I thought it was the pattern, then realized that I’d cast on extra stitches. Did the suggested 88, and although it fits better, I think that somewhere in the 80-82 stitch range would be most comfortable. Also, next time I will make no more than 16 or 18 earflap stitches. 20 is too many. Still, this hat is so cute!
