I just used bulky wool and large needles. I felted/fulled the shoes when they were done. I used the acorn pixie pattern but put leaves on the top. The stitch count was increased to 18sts on the sole and I made no decreases at the back before I started the ribbing. I had 40sts around on the whole foot, an increase of 10sts in total. It looks like I made shoes for the Jolly Green Giant when you put them next to the baby socks it’s hard to beleve this is the same pattern. Gauge Does Matter!
