I really like this classic raglan pattern…
uh, and in case you’re looking for the bibs, you can find the bandana bib pattern here -size: 0-36month.
… and with my notes from the previous version, i tried a couple of different things on this one since it’s always nice to play with a pattern.
(Update - April 2013 - v03 with a bit more structured notes.)
Tweaks
- cast on 76sts (60 sts plus an extra 8sts for each buttonband)
- purl every 1st st of each row, to get a tidy edge.
- chest & shoulders knit in seed stitch (k1, p1)
- 2extra increases (204sts and 16sts of the buttonbands = total of 220sts in last raglan row)
- 3 buttonholes. 1st hole in row 6, 2nd in row with 134sts, 3rd in row with 194sts. (next time -would change this to row 8, row with 126sts & row with 182sts to bring them closer together)
- body - stocking stitch, first & last 8stitches in seed stitch (buttonband), knit until 26cm (13in) from CO edge, finally 3rows garter stitch; last row (WS): knit and slip stitches over to bind off.
- sleeves - knit in the round on set of needles - 12cm (5in) in stocking stitch, followed by row 1: P all; row 2: k all, last row: P all and slip the stitches over to bind off.
