This was a fun hat to knit. However, I would knit it in the round if I did it again. When I stitched up the back, the variegated yarn didn’t blend nicely at all (see photos). But still, the finishing off was quick and easy, and I love the picot trim at the start! I tried it on a 3-year old, and it fit fine.
